Join the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and Orvis this Saturday, August 12th, from 10am-1pm, as we celebrate back-to-school season with a very special Reading Buddies event! Meet Children’s author Mary Anne Freeman and illustrator Memory Smith and learn about Oliver, a special-needs dachshund, in her book, “Let’s Roll, Oliver!”

Mary Anne and Memory will be signing copies of their book, and 10% of the sales for every customer wearing dog or cat themed clothing, or the GBHS logo, will go back to supporting our mission. There will even be a special chance to win a gift basket, courtesy of Orvis.
